Our story
Ole! Lighting is a design brand of decorative and technical lighting "made in Spain", the result of the effort and experience of almost 30 years. Our adventure began in Valencia in 1992 with the founding of the company FM Iluminación, which was born from the passion of its creators for light.
We export to the 5 continents lamps designed and manufactured by us: Pendant lamps, ceiling lights, wall lights, floor and table lamps, as well as original lighting systems. Always focused on meeting the lighting needs of contract and residential projects.
Early years: FM Illuminacion
Our beginnings were based on the manufacture of recessed lights, spotlights, ceiling lights and wall lights of simple design lines that were very well received by the market, with specialised shops being our main customers.
This was slowed down by the changes that were taking place in the sector and the world economic crisis in 2006. We decided to reinvent ourselves in response to this situation and not to give up. It was then that we decided to launch the "Ole! by FM" brand, now Ole Lighting, which would mean a change in design and open up new business opportunities in the contract channel.

Awards
Darc Awards
Our AVATAR TWIST lamp has been shortlisted in the Darc Awards in the category "Best Architectural Lighting Product for Interior". The winners will be announced in April 2021.
AVATAR TWIST is a model based on wall-to-wall lighting and can also be installed from ceiling to floor, columns, walls or sloping ceilings. Its 360º manual rotation system and its large dimensions (up to 10 metres long) make it ideal for illuminating large spaces and directing the light where desired.
German Design Awards 2020
Our AVATAR model was awarded the German Design Award in 2020 in the "WINNER" category for Excellent Product Design.
Designed by Fernando Martinez, AVATAR has impressed since its launch due to its innovative design and high functionality. It is based on suspension from vertical or horizontal elements (ceiling to floor, columns, walls, sloping ceilings...) without vertical suspension accessories. Reaching up to 8 meters, it is a solution for designers when they want to create an environment in which lines of light cross the entire space.
German Design Awards 2019
In 2019, Fernando Martinez received the "German Design Award" for "Excellent Product Design" in the category "SPECIAL MENTION".
PEPO is a model with a simple, modern and practical design that offers multiple options. It is able to light up every corner of large spaces with its orientation system. We will continue to work to always offer great lighting solutions that at the same time have a careful design!

Design and customer service
We design products that follow market trends, offering original lamps with fresh, decorative and functional designs. Models with the dual purpose of illuminating and decorating. We seek to improve and surpass ourselves, focusing on creating lamps that have an added value and a story to tell. We listen to our customers and we base ourselves on their needs to design lighting that meets their requirements.
We use different materials, such as cord, which is a hallmark of our brand; elastic fabric, metal, wood...
We have our own design team, led by Fernando Martínez, and we have also collaborated with designers such as Vicente Gallega, Nacho Timón and Hugo Tejada.
Responsible company
Sustainable design
Being environmentally responsible is no longer an option. As a lighting brand, we are aware of our responsibility to produce lamps that meet our objectives of originality in design, using sustainable materials and artisanal techniques.
We work with the utmost respect for the environment, with efficient and very low consumption installations. For all these reasons, we have joined the ECO-ONE initiative as partners. A project that is committed to a sustainable and profitable future in the hotel sector.
Social responsibility
At Ole! Lighting we feel a commitment to society. We are aware of the unfavourable conditions of a large part of the population and therefore, every year we try to do our bit to contribute to their improvement, convinced that we can always find a way to help.
We have collaborated with NGOs and foundations such as "Médecins Sans Frontières", "Oxfam Intermon" or some more unknown ones such as MALEMBE, which develops educational projects in the Kimbondo Orphanage (DR Congo) and carries out awareness campaigns in educational centres in Spain and other western countries.
