Cuco Hotel

Sometimes we tend to think that a space with a modern design is the equivalent of a cold and unwelcoming space. But this is far from being the case. The secret lies in having professionals who know how to fuse the modern with elements that provide warmth.

The interior designers of Espacio IDEO, in charge of the Hotel Cuco project, are aware of this and this is what they have done. A hotel must have a very careful design that makes us feel at home.

For this reason, they have played with light and colours to offer a modern, contemporary, and pleasant space. Warm lighting is the key to creating an atmospheric space. 

Our PEPO model, winner of the German Design Award, thanks to its practical design is very useful to illuminate large spaces, and to focus attention on elements that we want to highlight.

At the Hotel Cuco they have used it to highlight decorative pieces such as colourful paintings, and also as a reinforcement in the restaurant area.

PEPO is a collection of suspensions of one or several pendants, whose design is based on a stylised spotlight with a manual orientation system that allows to direct the light from each of the spotlights where desired. In this case, they have been oriented in such a way as to softly illuminate the area, avoiding glare, so that the light is not bothersome.

A warm shade of light has been chosen to create an ambient environment, thus achieving the desired effect of enjoying a modern and pleasant space.

They also opted for our POT model to create a fun composition of several ceiling lights, giving it great personality. They decided to combine white, beige and green finishes, a great option to decorate the ceiling with bright colours.
